Gary’s commitment to his work and his love for his family defined his life. He worked as an electrician for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers for 45 years, dedicating his skills to the Chillicothe power plant in Ottumwa until his retirement in 2016.

Fishing was one of Gary’s greatest passions, and he enjoyed going on up to four fishing trips each year.

He found solace in the tranquility of the water and the thrill of the catch. Additionally, Gary loved playing pool and participating in slow-pitch softball, embracing both leisure and camaraderie. The Ottumwa community mourns the loss of this remarkable individual.
